How does the free plan work?
The free plan gives your business a permanent listing in PVFirms with a public profile page, company description, service categories, and contact details. Free profiles are indexed in our public search results if they meet our Quality Gate (minimum content threshold). There is no time limit — your free listing remains active as long as your account is in good standing. Upgrading unlocks priority placement, the Verified badge, lead alerts, and analytics.
What happens when the paid period ends?
Paid plans are paid in advance for one month or one year and are never charged automatically. When the period ends, your company moves back to the Free plan and keeps its profile. You can renew at any time from Billing.
What is the Verified Badge and how do I get it?
The Verified badge shows that we have checked your company's registration and identity. It is included in paid plans, but it is not granted on payment: after you pay, submit your business registration and tax documents within 14 days (we send reminders). The badge appears once our team approves them. If your company is not verified within 14 days, the plan is cancelled, your company returns to the Free plan and the payment is refunded in full automatically. If your company is already verified, nothing more is needed.
Do you offer custom enterprise or bulk plans?
Yes. For large solar manufacturers, equipment distributors, EPC contractors, and national associations that need bulk listings, custom API integration, co-branded landing pages, or white-label directory capabilities, we offer tailored Enterprise agreements. Enterprise contracts include a dedicated account manager, custom data feeds, and SLA guarantees. Contact us at contact@pvfirms.com to discuss your requirements.
Can I change my plan later?
Yes, you can upgrade at any time. An upgrade starts on the day you pay; the remaining days of your current plan are not carried over. Renewing the same plan early adds the new period after your current end date, so no days are lost. There is no downgrade during a paid period: to move to a lower plan, let the current period end (your company returns to the Free plan) and then buy the lower plan.
